The Turpentine Tree allows you to plan everything or we can do it for you. Decorations, catering. If you are on a budget, you can be in control. The Turpentine Tree has a coolroom and refrigeration for your drinks and food.

The Wedding Marquee

Situated within the rose garden, and surrounded by cascading Jasmine and Wisteria, the marquee has the following features:

• Garden views;
• Fully weather proof with roll down clear plastic sides;
• Ceiling fans, lighting, power points;
• Large screen T.V. for your videos or photos;
• Night lighting in garden;
• Easy access catering area;
• Seating area: 8m x 20m seating up to 120 plus dance area;
• The marquee and rose garden area is fully enclosed, open the gate when you are ready to give your guests a dramatic entrance to the reception.

Wedding Ceremony

There are many picturesque locations on the property for you to exchange your vows. Under the 100 year old Turpentine Tree is still the most popular. There are also Churches in the surrounding area. The Gazebo is ideal for your ceremony on a wet day or dry and can be used to greet your guests and pre-reception drinks or for small reception. The Gazebo seats 35-40.

The property allows for that ‘dramatic’ arrival. Examples that have been done include, helicopter, horse and cart, semi-trailers, antique cars, highland band.

Magnificent Photo Opportunities

The Turpentine Tree and your garden wedding are all about great photos. We have landscaped 10 acres to give you a great backdrop.

The Cottage

Originally an orchardists cottage dating back to 1910. Enjoy the history of this famous apple growing area. Accommodation is available during the week of your wedding. This will allow you to receive deliveries, prepare for your wedding day and greet early guests. The cottage has three double bedrooms. 

Catering and Hire

The Turpentine Tree has a number of tables, chairs, chair covers, sashes and linen available for hire. We can recommend or organise the hire of all your needs. A list of caterers is available, or you can use your own.
